It's like French and Belgian, potato patata.
PS: the Swiss are Belgians living in the mountains.

Very funny Marc!
Just to clarify, Polish names do not have any Xs nor Qs, nor end with KY or ZKY. Only some surnames end with SKI or CKI - like Strzelecki Desert in SA.
So it's definitely a Russian.

Lots of polish people in France. They brought us snails.

Yes, Poles wanted to rid their country of pesky snails and nobody could have predicted that French will start eating the poor burgers!

Actually it's the other way around. We had the frogs. The snail dish was first introduced by the Poles. Common misconception. Having said that I still love garlic snails. :P

I believe it was Spanish who were first (https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-28873899) eating snails. I know that Polish snails are/were exported to France, but I am now aware of any Polish dishes which would include snails and have never ever seen any in a supermarket prior to my move to Down Under.
Back to topic though - I cannot believe that Lewis has rejected Czwxnqstazky, his fellow countryman...

Nah, that's not Stroin.
Buggered if I know who Czwxnqstazky is. Sounds like QLD's Premier - the Palace Chook.

I just realised I have many relations of Russian origin and my daughter is 1/8th Russian.
