I have my custom Alt Az mount up for sale. Why Custom?
The basic head is the Bintel delux Az mount priced at $399 in store.
I have replaced the original aluminium tripod with the stainless steel one from an EQ6 mount. In addition to this is the extension pier from the EQ6. Heavy duty? You bet. As it used to carry a Takasashi TOA130 with 5 EP turret with a full range of televue eyepieces. Weight must have been well over 15kg.
I estimate it would be near $600- to replace. Painted a lovely Tak misty green in parts ( some paint has come off).
