A lot of people don’t bother with lunar imaging but I still enjoy viewing and imaging our closest celestial neighbour
Captured on BYEOS planetary AVI

Just squeezed it in the FOV by 1mm
Well taken moon image
And yes, I also like to see some pics of our close neighbours
beautiful crisp (not overprocessed) details there. a photographic phase indeed.

Thanks all
I surprised myself how well this image came out as seeing was ordinary and high cloud passing every few minutes
A definite thumbs up for Televue powermates an excellent accessory for lunar and planetary imaging
I say post more good lunar images as we don’t see to too many on IIS

There you go. Single frame, Canon 1100D, 1/250th sec. 8" f/5 Newt.
Eyepiece projection. Forgotten what eyepiece, taken ages ago.
Best viewed at 50-60% screen.

That's a beautiful photo Martin, well done. I love the smoothness of the image. It looks really natural.

Thanks Ryan
I took 3 Avi files @ 1200 frames with same ISO but different exposures
This one was the second one 1/500 sec
I’m pretty meticulous with collimation, clean mirrors, focus etc plus using quality Televue optics
Autostakkert did the rest
Cheers
