If you have registered with a hotmail address, or wish to register with a hotmail address, please ensure you add "iceinspace.com.au" to your safe senders list in Hotmail, otherwise emails from IceInSpace may end up in your spam folder.

The emails include:
- Activation emails
- Private message notifications
- Subscription notifications
- Admin notices/announcements

Thats not such a bad thing really, I dont know how strong the forums anti spam filters are , but most spammers that wish to join for Nefarious reasons use hotmail and there ilk, as a return address for access, Id be happy with things the way they are..

We get a few spammers but the vbulletin image verification software does a fairly good job at keeping the bots away. Obvious spammers of course will still sign up, but between the moderators and the admins (and the great people who press the "report bad post" button) we take care of them quickly.

Legitimate amateur astronomers who want to use hotmail are most welcome.
