Whilst I am having all sorts of dramas with the AG12, I have been collecting data with the RC12. This time on NGC613.
I had trouble finding a suitable guide star for the AO, so I had to offset a fair bit. Seeing was not great either but I have to take what is available to me. However, despite this the plethora of background galaxies is amazing in the field of view. I think a few of them are very distant indeed.

Awesome stuff! The main attraction surrounded by lesser but just as intriguing appetisers. Now, which one has life?

Really nice Paul! You’ve managed to capture detail in the tiny background galaxies which shows a sharp image :)

Well, that surprised me, it was way better than I expected. Its a smallish galaxy and you've got some great colour and detail there.
Really good.
Greg.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Seeing at Clayton has been less than the usual for months so obtaining half reasonable data can be a bit hit and miss at the moment, although seeing last night was quite nice with a high pressure sitting over us.

Hi Paul,
Great image, As usual,
I recently moved to Clayton (4 days ago), and looking forward to setting up a small observatory, once my family and I settle in.
Cheers Peter:thumbsup:
