Moon sketching

I thought I'd have a crack at a moon sketch - first attempt, and it turns out I might be more of an impressionist than a realist!
4 day old moon, trying to catch a few of the features around Mare Crisium.

Very nice work M. Is that chalk/charcoal on black canvas (or something with texture)? I really like the sketch and crater edge shadowing :thumbsup:

It's white charcoal pencil, white pastel and black charcoal on black paper. The pastel was great for strong white lines
