I notice that Peter has just posted a great picture of the Tarantula so don't expect that sort of quality when viewing this image. I also had numerous problems getting the data and plan to re-shoot some of it at some stage. This shot is NGC 2074, almost in the same field as NGC 2070. It's a very busy area and you can see a recently discovered planetary nebula up near the top edge. Also of interest is the bit at the centre which is known as the "Sea Horse" and yes, I think I can see a sea horse.
Anyway here it is:

Nice to see some more well executed, narrow field, LMC imagery Steve.
I find the SMC and LMC objects difficult to do well. They are not overly bright, never get that high above the horizon and have smallish angular sizes.
You've done well

Thanks Peter. I have a nearby range of hills to my south so the seeing is often not the best when I'm attempting anything in the SMC or LMC. I drool at the quality you achieve with the Alluna.
Cheers

That's very nice, Steve  The nebula at top right always reminds me of the "Scream." Either the movie or the Edvard Munch painting :)

Thanks Rick. I see your point. Generally I'm pretty hopeless at patterns but I can see that one.

Thanks Mike. I have a small collimation problem at the moment so I'll have to reshoot some of the data. Other than that I was happy.
