Hi all,

here's another image from last night - the Trifid and Lagoon Nebs. It was taken with the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 APO + a 1.4x telextender. Thus 200 x 1.4 x 1.6 = 448mm f4.

The transparancy last night was bad - high humidity, chimney smoke?, high cloud etc so the sky looks a little brown...:confuse3:

A larger image can be seen at:

Gotta get me a 16" Newt! My 12" is starting to feel small.
The enlarged shot is excellent. Terrific job John.
