NGC7424 is a large barred spiral galaxy with well defined arms, similar to the Milky Way. It is around 38 million light years away.

Nice shot Adam. If you add a little Deconvolution from Pixinsight you can make the stars in the Galaxy pop out a little more, "but not too much deconvolution" or you will end up with things popping out that are not real.

Looks good, Adam, congrats! Sounds like it's a dim one too, so extra credit for doing that from an orange zone.

Hi Adam,

Detail and depth is good. The colour is a little off, IMO. It's all a bit too blue, especially the dimmer parts of the galaxy where there's not normally that much colour.
