Hi guys,

as you can tell I am having a good old play with my new 400D and could not resist snapping at the full moon the other night (well a few hours before full moon) at prime focus through my 12.5".

Taken as a (L)arge file (dont yet have CS2 to manipulate raw images) and simply sharpened slightly as well as curves and contrast/brightness adjustments.

That's pretty John, it looked just like that as I watched it rise last night through my 20x80s. I just love it! Thanks for the photo.

Lovely image John.

Did you need a lower profile focuser to be able to bring the 400D to focus in your newt?

Thanks for the comments guys.

Mike I have a JMI 2" focuser which is modulised to become low profile, so not a problem.
