I am now keeping all my Cassegrain scopes so the last major item I have for sale is my Intes MN61 150mm F/6 Maksutov Newtonian.
It is one of the earlier ones with the heavy gauge aluminium tube designed to be transported across Russia loose in the back of a truck and still be usable:) This one has however been well looked after and is in pristine condition optically and cosmetically.
Visually it is excellent and probably equivalent to most 100mm apo's, and the flat field is also ideal for imaging (which would probably require an upgraded focuser).
It's another regretful sale but I don't use it any more, no longer having a suitable mount.
It comes with mount rings, and Losmandy dovetail plate, the original finder and a red dot finder.
I'll let it go for $1000 including delivery by courier just about anywhere in Australia. It will be very well packed in a plywood box.
