The response is serious because IMHO the value of sight is seriously underestimated by insurers.

There are many things that when it comes to health and core attributes that cant be valued but insurance needs a price ticket for these priceless treasures so as to work out a premium.
My eyes are part of me and not for sale.
I imagine there must be a market for just one eye and no doubt sime trade already goes on...I dont have to even research knowing humans...they are predictable and there are so many no matter what wild idea you form it may well be that there are humans now doing what you thought would be undoable in reality.
I suppose also these days one could instal cameras etc and wire them into your brain and get a better picture...360 degree vision ...you could look everwhere at once and your security cameras and drone camera all straight to the brain...
Heck if that comes in real eyes will be worthless...get ready to sell☺ before the market crashes.
And if they start selling quantum computers at Harvey Norman determine what a brain can bring.
And if you replaced your eyes with cameras and your brain with a superior? computer would you still be you?
