Micro Bat

Greg went to the coffee cart this morning to grind his morning cup, and up behind the counter was this little fellow.
Only about 10cm in length, he/she is as cute as a button.
Don't know what the health inspector would make of it though.:whistle:

Be quite careful of these "cute" critters as they can carry Australian Bat Lyssavirus (Australia's version of rabies). Two people have died since the discovery of the virus and it only takes a small bite and the saliva will transmit the virus. If you have not been vaccinated or get the gamma globulin as soon as you can, its certain death.

Glad you told me about that Allan after I gently picked one off the rafters and put him outside at the shack. They sure are cute, like a tiny mouse with wings and razor sharp little teeth, I found one buzzing round in my shack one night, thought it was a moth.
