There are some really interesting smaller objects in the SMC. This image was only using 2 minute subs and I obviously need to try 4 or 5 min to get more detail and colour.

I'm learning that longer subs are far more important than number of subs for fainter objects.

That was using an IDAS P2 filter Tom and NP101.

Yes and no. Long sub can saturate and bolt some stars or areas. You must try many configurations to find the best time and ISO.


And yes, SMC and LMC have many interesting objects. I am working on them. You can take a look at:
