Dujon

All I did this lovely morn was to move a filing cabinet from my downstairs workshop to what is now known as 'The Office'. The latter is a spare bedroom from which I post.
Mrs Dujon decided to become involved. So far I have re-sited myriad pieces of furniture, ripped the (admittedly rotted) base off her dressing table stool - still to be finished as I don't have material to hand to give her ample backside support (but this is still under discussion) and cleaned, vacuumed, washed, dried just about everything within a 50 metre radius of the newly installed cabinet.
Now she's talking about the garage. The garage, for heaven's sake! I know that some of my 'stuff' lives there, that is an incontrovertible fact, but at least (and I'm being kind here) 50% of the 'stuff' - there's not room for the car - is hers.
Ladies, please, give us a bit of leeway; moving one two-drawer filing cabinet should not lead to a wholesale reorganisation of the house.
Then again, maybe my lovely wife (yes, I love her to bits) is just different.
Maybe I should be pleased as she hasn't yet mentioned the garden shed (the no roll-off roof one) . . . probably because the only thing in there that could be remotely related to myself is the lawn mower.
Ladies of the forum: please don't get me wrong, I'm as happy as the next fellow to plan and execute all the above exercises. Please note the word plan. Impulsiveness is not my middle name. Give us blokes time to think . . . er, please?
