C.A.S. Dark Sky (well darkish..) Night at Mount Stromlo Observatory...

If you're a member or considering becoming one, or just want to visit, this month's gathering is at the Mount Stromlo Observatory on Saturday evening.

Arrive early or meet at the boom gates at 7pm. The gates will be closed after that. We'll be setting up the scopes near the 3 domes on the western side of the big dome.

Forecast is for a clear evening with light winds. I think the club's 14" Meade will also be operating in the middle dome.

I will be taking "Excalibur" and maybe the Bino-Tak...
