Hi all,
after so many positive comments about the Crux image I took with my Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 APO lens I decided to utilise it more so here's another image that I took tonight. It's the Rho Ophiuchi region (I call the long dark spike heading up to Antares 'the finger of God'). I fear I slightly over enhanced it to compensate for bad transparency...
The lens was set to 70mm (x 1.6 = 112mm), f2.8, 19 x 2 minute exposures at 800asa.

I took a heap of images tonight (10 hours astrophotography:P ) so I'll post some more images on this (and other) sites later today...
Cheers.
