Hi all
Just a short update regarding our progress with the Border Stargaze 2007.
We can now finally let the "cat out of the bag"!!!! (No offence intended to cat lovers).
We can confirm that we will have David Levy "live" via webcast for one hour from Stellafane. :D
A big thank you to SLOOH.com for making this possible
More details soon.
Cheers Petra
That's great news, Petra.
David must indeed be feeling a lot better if he's good to go!

Hi Matt
All signs are good and August is a little while away - so there is plenty of time and no pressure on David. We are looking forward to the hookup.
Cheers Petra

No comet  sorry . Mike you scooped the pool on that one - well done. Will need to do some networking and see what I can arrange;) as a challenge.
Cheers Petra
That's excellent news Petra, well done and the best of luck with the event.
I'm glad to hear David is recovering, he's a wonderful man and I always enjoy what he has to say.
I had the pleasure of having dinner with him one night, unforgettable !

w00t!! I reckon Mr. Levy would be a very interesting bloke.Comet McNaught was only discovered last August, so another one is not entirely out of the realm of possibilty, however extremely unlikely lol.
Clear skies,
Shane

Another update for Border Stargaze 2007. (http://www.asaw.org.au/?pid=&p=15)
As Petra has stated earlier we will have David Levy via "live" web-cast.
We couldn't manage to arrange a comet for BSG2007 but we did arrange the name of the person who's been on everyone's lips this year.
Yes, you've guessed it! Robert McNaught will be in attendance as a key note speaker at BSG2007. So to listen to two renowned discoverer's of comets, BSG2007 will be the place to be.

I won't be able to attend but it sounds like a fabulous line-up!
Great work organizers...
I'm going to do everything I can to be there.
I've already missed too many in the last 18 months.
Won't be letting work or anything else get in the way.
Would be great to be a part of it.
Have we got any costs/prices yet?

Hi Matt
We are just finalising the registration page - should be ready to go live in the next few days. Either John or myself will post confirmation that it is ready to go.
We are all very excited that both Rob McNaught and his partner Tanya are making the trip down to Albury.
We will keep you posted as news comes to hand.
Cheers Petra
Thanks, Petra.
That's great news re: Rob McN:thumbsup:
I'm sure BSG2007 will be a huge success.
A three-hour drive from Canberra is nothing. So I'm stoked something like this is coming together so "close" to home:)
