hi,

Took Lum data for this from a dark site, but RGB from my LP backyard.

NGC908 is a galaxy in Cetus, 60Mly away.
Tiny (6' x 2.7') for my FOV, so tried to bring out as much detail as I could. This is cropped.
Processed in Startools.

Edit:
Re-processed larger version https://www.astrobin.com/full/366797/B/?nc=user
Attached both versions below.
had to individually process the LRGB stack sets and then combine.

comments welcome.

Lum - around 4 hrs ( 10min subs)
RGB - around 2 hrs (1 min subs)

Superb detail and colour in both the galaxy and the stars.

We are inspired to add this to our to-do list.

Little off the beaten track but the detail is nice in the main galaxy and some of the fainter background ones :)

That's great, Al! Haven't seen it before.

Yes the detail is pretty good Alistair

Perhaps there could be a little more colour variation across the spiral arms?..but this may have been hampered by your light polluted site for the RGB acquisition?

Nice work regardless though

Very nice detail for such a small object. The colour would probably benefit from some dark sky exposure.

Re-processed from scratch, seems to have restored balance a bit atleast looks like that to me, but it has introduced noise.
