More processing this afternoon. I'm pretty happy with how this one worked out. Just over 4 hours LRGB on NGC6357 using the SN10, QSI683 and EQ8. I think this is one of the better images I've achieved with the SN10 although I've still got a lot to learn about PI.

Comments and advice always welcome.
Thanks for looking.
Great work Peter. That EQ8 gives beautiful round stars, and you seem to have the SN10 singing as well.

Very nice Peter. Heaps of details in the core.

The crabby lobster - really fills the field of view at this scale, and plenty of detail. I'd tweak the colour balance a little?

Looks great, Peter. I think you could push the saturation a little further, especially the stars. But maybe that's my lurid sense of taste kicking in

Thanks Rob. The EQ8 is no AP however it is performing well for the price and I really like EQMOD so overall I'm happy with what I've got. The SN10 also seems to be working better. I think the mirror cell is still inadequate and may modify that some time. The other weakness is the way the secondary is held in the corrector plate and the difficulty this introduces to collimation. I've been looking at options to get better control over the secondary rotation.
Cheers Marc. I've been doing some experimentation with Startools alongside PI. Probably not strictly correct but I'm happy with the result and some of the Star Tools functions are easier to get a result.
Thanks for the feedback Troy. Do you mean the red colour?
Cheers Mike.
Thanks Rick. I'll take another look at that this weekend. I missed the late night PI workshops this year and I'm pretty rusty on the workflow. Might have to break out Warren's videos again ;)
