my best M42 so far

I took this about 5:20 this morning, couldn't sleep so i got up and glad i did.

SW 127 Mak Cas on the alt-az mount
Canon 700D unmodded
Exp 80 sec
ISO 3200

Not a bad effort for a single 80 second exposure and DSLR. Lots of keen astrophotographers getting in early with their M42s at the moment, early being the operative word. ;) Good on you for giving it a go.

Thanks Michael and Leon. I was pretty stoked how it came out, i haven't edited the photo at all. I don't have a good enough computer to do it, won't even let me compress the image it's that bad haha
