A dusty NGC 4945. A total of 4.5 hrs HaLRGB captured a couple of months ago.

A had some slight fogging of the main mirror due to dewy conditions and struggled with some stubborn gradients.

Very nice! Fogging and gradients overcome completely.

I normally shoot people who say "If there was nothing very special that you wanted to keep in the right hand 20%, you could crop it for artistic balance", so I've put on my Kevlar vest.

Good detail in the main galaxy, and you can see the little fellow about half-way toward 8 o'clock.

Great colours, the Hll regions show up nice and red.

A good catch of this galaxy Dave. I always feel sorry for NGC4945 as it seems to be an ugly cousin against others. It has been presented quite proudly here.

The HII regions look perhaps too red?..but still, a nice result none the less Dave

Yes Mike, I agree, the Ha red is a bit psychedelic. I did did knock that the red saturation and it looks better.
