I just purchased one which was to carry an illuminated reticle on thhe odd occassion.
But Iwondered today if I could use the little polestar camera thru it and maybe produce a long ve stack image to look at..a live view.
I dont know if you would even use it.
I will try the nikon thru it maybe☺

The illuminated reticle wont focus needs to go in only about another 2 mm which is a pity as the main function for this unit was a giant guide scope with illuminates cross hairs.

So far I am using 30mm scope (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/attachment_browse.php?a=226904) as finder... works, but larger lens would be better.
I already have 1/2 of binocular of that size.. (actually 1/4 - lens and a piece of conical tube)
It will be great finder.. only need to attach the eyepiece and tube to hold it in place.

You don't need the crosshairs for guiding anyways :)

Actually the main reason I got it was to have something for the occassional peek.
Up here because its so dark you can see a great deal.
Set up and ready to go, ran into power problems but thats ok I planned getting better batteries but I rounded up all the leads and got power to the set up.
Just have to make a cuppa for everyone and casually slip outside☺
If it fails it will all come down and I will do some wide fields but I am very tired from the trip but so far so good.
Have yet to have a peek thru this new scope but I have a 20 mm ep that is in focus did that earlier on the horizon which is a long way off here being on top of a good hill.
Polar aligned before dinner and it is a perfect night the wind has dropped right off and it is super clear.
