Hi All,

Finally after so many nights this year some good seeing for Jupiter, pity it did not stay that way for Mars. Will need to catch Mars earlier in my backyard near zenith.

C8 with 3x Tal Barlow ASI224MC
Stacked AS3 and Wavelets and RGB Balance in Registax

Have some more data to process and possibly derortate to combine. Its nice to finally get some data that looks like what people show in there tutorials etc. With the right data its so easy to pull out the details with just light processing.

Edit sorry wrong link animation link fixed.
Animation, Each stack processed in Registax then Pixinsight then animated with PIPP.

That's definitely one to be proud of mate. Awesome job 😎😎
Can i ask what program you use to derotate with? I have been away from astronomy and astrophotography for a few years now and programs and techniques have moved on quite a bit..

Great detail on that image Fahim!
I am guessing the winds were not blowing too strongly out your way

thx Ross yes spotted a hole in jetstream map for the day so had a go. but it took my c8 yo catch the eye , you did that with the 105 that's impressive. Also Tavi with his home made DK. Si want to get back to small bores as well.

thx Tony this is just one stack 180sec no derotation . I have more stacks to process then I'll use WinJupos to measure and derotate. There is YouTube tutorial by Mike Phillip's.

also this one by Steven Y.

he takes you from stacking to derotation. The idea is that one you get some more clarity on the sides and two by combining stacks you can also do more sharpening as you have more signal. I.e the more frames more signal to work with. But nothing beats good seeing so in the ends it's all about having the time to be out there as much as possible.

Great pictures Fahim , glad you didn’t try to pull out more detail, they have a natural softness about them.
