Have done a search on here & can't find anything.

Seems like a relatively new product; anyone have any experience with one.

Looking at them to mount a Meade 5000 Series 80mm refractor...

No where to go look at one here in Cairns so, would be ordering online. Want some opinions before I shell out my hard earned.

Thanks in advance

A really basic entry level mount. A question for you though, is what do you want this for - visual, or AP ?

If visual I’d suggest just get a budget altaz mount unless you have a good reason to need it to track equatorially.

The Skywatcher AllView mount will suit your scope very nicely.

For AP I’d say it’s not really suitable.

The exposed gears in the drive gearboxes are a bit of a concern - they’ll pick up grit if you’re not careful.

G'day,

Starting to dabble in some AP but, don't want to go to full equatorial setup.
I have an have an ioptron cube pro but, not 100% happy as the scope is close on the weight limit & vibrates when touched (ie: when focussing). Looking for greater stability together with the simplicity option for visual use. [
