West of Castle Hill towards Richmond maybe further. Flight radar showed a small aircraft coming into land at Richmond

did anyone else see this.

Didn't see it and the video is a little hard to make out, but this is what I make of it:
- Looks like a bog standard contrail.
- Remember the earth is a globe, so the higher something is, the further away you can see it.
- So we're looking (I guess) at a plane far away, high up.
- A plane coming into land at Richmond wouldn't cause a contrail, they generally only happen at higher altitude.
- Or if it does cause a contrail, he probably has a problem :P
- You'll often see contrails with wonky trails due to winds.

I believe aircraft (flying in certain airspace) are now required now to ADS-B compliant which means they broadcast their GPS coordinates. I'd look a little further afield in your FlightRadar search.

Having been in aviation for most of my life, I see absolutely nothing odd about that contrail. I see weirder ones here all the time

Thx guys differ to ur experience. Usually see straight ones this one was wavy but as you said wind is a factor. First I thought did I miss news on a bright comet cause that’s what it looked like , memories of Mcnaught. The there was a gap and new larger ball broke away, thought it might be a meteor or space debris . I checked flight radar few mins later so could have been the same plane but it was a single engine pip 3 something or other.
