July 18. Thin crescent moon is always hard to get detail of - this single exposure pic was taken with a canon 550d camera thru a 10" Meade SCT (1/100 sec x 400 iso). Shows the Altai scarp (upper middle) and area around Mare Nectaris. Thanks for viewing. John W.
