well as i said i never would have attempted this from home as the light pollution is pretty ordinary. the helix as butchered by me, blinded by the all seeing eye. 11" RASA with ASI071 at full gain 240, 5h 20 min worth unguided and stacked in Deepsky stacker and processed in pixinsight - (i expect there to be more assimilations at astrofest for PI)
its a hack and until i learn how to process better enjoy looking through a bottle;)
its a slight crop
EDIT added another try

Yeah I tried this one in Ha from home and you need dark skies. It's just too faint.

I like that Dave!
I still can't do it from here yet (around midnight it clears all obstacles here) - the trees, the trees boss....

I would wait for Astrofest, where you will have lots of time and darkness to explore the potential.

might be right as i cannot autoguide because the 11" and the guide scope on top is too wide for the dome - hence why i am unguided. i cant imagine when i can put 3 or more minutes each shot instead of 60 seconds.. i would imaging that the other outer ring will become visible then

Could a LPS or UHC nebula filter be fitted in the image train, that would make a massive difference
