!3th July 2018 Partial Solar Eclipse as seen from northern Tasmania Australia. With a very frosty start to the day which promised clear calm skies I was treated to natures wonderful alignment of the Moon and the Sun. Being a partial eclipse this one only lasted about an hour with mid eclipse at 13:24 as shown in the attached image taken through a Williams Optics GT81mm APO Flat Field on a Eq5 mount with Canon 60Da at prime focus, ISO100, 1/2500, f5.9 with Mylar solar filter attached to the telescope. Tasmania was the best place to view this particular eclipse with greatest eclipse over the Antartica. Edited in Lightroom and cropped.

I am glad someone, down in Tasmania got to see the eclipse. Being the most southern populated landmass to see the eclipse. I also observed the eclipse, but from South Australia. Great job on capturing the event.
