Decisions, decisions, what scopes and equipment to haul over 1000kms to Qld Astrofest?
I tend to carry too much, I admit that, and would like to keep it simple, at least scope wise. Maybe just the APOs (115mm, & 80mm), which are easy to heat, the ASI1600 and the Nikon D5300, and the CGX. I reckon the D5300 is a good winter OSC choice because its going to be cold enough to not worry about it not being cooled.
What are you pondering?

I'd have to buy one surreptitiously and hide it in the car to avoid spousal reprisals. Just like a new scope
