I wanted to get a series of images of Jupiter showing the clouds and red spot as they rotate across the planet. Problem was the first started in daylight and it was a bit cloudy so the first one is a bit fuzzy, otherwise I think it shows the rotation well.

I have a few more sequences I might be able to make a video out of but it's a lot of work and I'm already crosseyed from only doing three! Jupiter's Moon Ganymede shows up in the last frame. Each frame is about an hour apart.

GSO 10" F4 Newtonian, Pentax K-5 with eyepiece projection.

Thanks Colin. It's interesting to see the clouds and spot move over a short time.

Thanks Bob! The cool thing about planets is they don't care if the moon is up.
