Selling my EXCELLENT condition Vixen GPD (hammertone green model) with HAL130 tripod (has the adaptor to make them come together). It is equipped with a Synscan GOTO kit (same thing as on SW mounts like the HEQ5, NEQ6 etc).
It is DARNED accurate and tracks so reliably! It comes with the mount, Synscan already assembled to it (LONG custom data cable, and the firmware is 3.27 - the only GOOD FW ever made), mount tripod adaptor and HAL130 tripod (no tray). Will include the original counterweight shaft AND a custom stainless extension (LONG!) in case you can't come to balance. NOTE: counterweights are NOT included, nor is the tripod tray (sorry, I need it :) )! Vixen weights of course fit, as do the HEQ5 ones and Celestron. SW and some other trays also fit. Some paint marks, but considering it's been around a while, that's to be expected - having said that, it is in remarkable condition.
Honestly, it tracks SO SO SO well - I used this for quite some time with an Esprit 80ED on top
Load rating IMAGING is 10KG (though I have used one before at 12KG without issue). It is an ideal travel mount, and with the ease of the GOTO system, makes it VERY versatile.
Price is $750. Postage will be additional at actual cost.
Or make me a REASONABLE offer - lowballers will be ignored :)
