Up for sale a USA made Swayze Optical 8" F4.8
Steve Swayze makes superb mirrors the only down side is the waiting is ridiculously long ( years )
The star testing I did on this passed with flying colours and detail and contrast on Jupiter outstanding.
The coatings have plenty of life in them BUT there is one 40mm scratch in the coating plus a few small very faint ones , the pic' is taken at an angle to show them as best as possible there actually hard to see and I don't believe harm the view , I certainly wouldn't bother to have it recoated yet but its up to you.
Not sure what a 8" Swayze mirror goes for these days but a Royce would be over $1000 AUD new
