Hi people, sharing a shot I got couple of weeks ago down here on the south coast nsw. Canon 5dsr, 16-35mm 2.8 L II stacked about 6 of them 10-12 sec each unguided. Pity Im not having much luck with my 500mm f4 on planets, different ball game

I'm guessing that that would be very nice if the pic were larger than 26kb.

Welcome Daniel.
Looks great and I do like the composition.
Planets may be a little ambitious for 500mm however many of the nebula will come out rather well.
My recent shot of the Lagoon and Triffid was with a 80mm which is around 500 mm I think..heck I just realised that I actually dont know its fl...but why not have a go at some deeper Milky Way stuff with the 500 mm.
Antaraes would go well I expect.
Anyways well done and please keep them coming.

It's well composed and a nice colourful wide field :)

Nice picture - though I'd like to see a version with more pixels... Good choice of foreground which is important with a Milky Way shot.

yes mate will need to enlarge for this site, the camera I use is a 50 megapixel beast so with out compressing they do come out with a lot of info pixel wise
