A contender for my sharpest RGB - really nice conditions for a look at Oval BA & the GRS wake. Lots of bright outbreak activity in the GRS wake, and there's a dark barge further east along the SEB. Dark material from around Oval BA is approaching the GRS along the STBn. The newly-merged SSTB oval on the meridian looks pretty large. The NEB continues to look active, with a complex outbreak. Ganymede is emerging from the shadowed limb of Jupiter in RGB

Outstanding Andy!
It really puts us there at Jupiters surface. Ganymede is really spectacular too,
Congrats.

That is one of your best Jupiters, detail right down to the poles.
Congrats Andy.

Wow Andy, that's a beautiful colour shot of Jupiter, very real and natural looking, the processing is invisible, well done, Ganymede popping out from behind Jupiter looks so cool and gives a real sense of depth...overall one of the best Jupiter shots I have seen

Thanks everyone! Glad you like it :) Jupiter's been very productive for me lately, and I've been lucky enough to contribute observations to two papers at the EPSC 2018 (https://www.epsc2018.eu) conference later this year:
The new South Tropical Disturbance and its interaction with the Great Red Spot (https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EPSC2018/EPSC2018-562.pdf)
Jupiter’s high-latitude hazes as mapped by JunoCam (https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EPSC2018/EPSC2018-559.pdf)

I find it incredible we see some detail on Ganymede as well. It must be very satisfying to get this sort of result. Thank you.
