I have a few of these so be prepared..it will become like looking at holiday snaps from your brother in law.

Nikon D5500 30 second captures all around 130 approx no darks lights or bias and no dithering.
Minimal processing.

In this first one you can make out the Lagoon Nebula and the Triffid Nebula to the right and the Swan and the Eagle Nebula to the left.

If you get your daughter to help you correct the colours that one
would be a ripper.

Thanks David.
I think it is exciting what you can get with what is these days a rather ordinary camera and lens.

She is getting a little tired of helping me out.
I have an app now on my phone that tells me colour so I hope to be able to do better with these recent captures when in Sydney with time on my hands.

After looking at it again at full screen, I get a sort of sense of looking
out into vastness.

Beautiful image Alex. I still haven't got a piggy back solution but I look at an image like that and I know I have to get piggy backing sorted!
