NGC6559 / IC1275 and friends with M8 being the rest of the foot. Fairly pleased with how this came out though not the easiest to process. There's a lot going on here. Ha nebula, reflection nebula, dark nebula and star fields.

GSO 10" F4 Newtonian on a HEQ5 Pro unguided, 952 x 30 seconds, full spectrum Canon 1100D, Baader Semi-Apo filter, Baader MPCC MKIII.

Thanks Martin!

Thanks Greg! The weather was kind to us over the last Moon free period. Cold too so the non cooled DSLR got quite a workout.

Thanks Mike. I wasn't sure if I had overdone the colour or not. Sometimes when you stare at the image trying to process it, the brain can do strange things. I had to walk away, return and do some processing, walk away and repeat the whole process.

I used to do a lot of darkroom printing and the same thing would happen. It takes a lot of practice to train the brain to ignore itself sometimes!
