I would have liked to have gotten more data for this one but you work with what you get sometimes.

I have always liked this galaxy. Its got some very faint extensions on its spiral arms.

CDK17 FLI Microline 16200.

The faint extended spiral arms have come out well there Greg. The blue/pink and gold colours in the galaxy work very well. Nice one

That's a beautiful target Greg, can you get more data?
Be well worth it as it's looking really nice :)

Definite possibilities there Greg but you do need a lot more data

Nice setup Greg! How many hrs? Its very good so far, gorgeous faint pink near the core and a cool little neighbour at 3 oclock. Nice work

Thanks. Its definitely a pretty galaxy but also quite faint.

I can always get more data but it will be next year now as its already gone for the year. So a project to continue with next season.

I bet that was an interesting view.

Yes its the bane of astro, weather, time etc. But still it turned out well enough for now and I can add to it next year.

Thanks Simmo.

Luminance 160 mins, red green and blue 80 minutes each. Yes that little distorted spiral is interesting. Its amazing how many odd shaped galaxies there are.

Thanks Peter.

Thanks Tim. Just needs double the exposure.

I think I will do a lot on this one as I quite like it.
