For Melbournians wanting clear sky

Anyone in Melbourne wanting clear sky tonight (Wednesday) for Comet viewing, the sky up here is clear as a bell!

Head west from Melbourne. You don't necessarily have to drive all the way to Snake Valley/Ballarat. Just head west for a bit.

The sky is beautiful. The comet looks good up this way from about 9:30 - 10pm.

Tomorrow night (Thursday) is forecast to be clear as well.
Friday night is possible late shower.

Your dead right Ken, crystal clear, i just drive up the road a bit and join heaps of other lookers, it's really an awsume sight.

Leon, I'll probably park out in the dark near the road into Snake Valley and see who stops to have a look thru the knockies :thumbsup:

I agree, every time Whilst on my way to Snake Valley the sky just gets darker and darker the further west you go.
But Snake Valley is the ultimate darkness!!:)
