If all goes well I will have a truck load over the next couple of weeks.
Almost packed ready for some dark site work and may order a water tank to stop the rain.

No Alex, the sighting hole on the nano tracker is useless for the southern celestial pole, so got the alignment device for the Vixen Polarie which gets
me close, but not close enough. I have copied Mickoid's [Michael's]
method and am getting a finderscope and attaching it to a sturdy metal
plate so it is parallel to the tracker's sighting hole. Align the scope with the
sighting hole on a distant object during the day, and then use the finder to find the appropriate stars in Octans at night.

I love that part of the sky, strangely, it always makes me feel at home. Its just such an Australian view. Iv been looking up at that area since I was a small boy. :)
