Beautiful indeed, but have you noticed that you have spelt Shapley wrongly
in your post, and below the image?[or was it meant to be shapely, which it certainly is].

A nice shot of this little beauty Adam, well executed

Would you believe, after ariving from Sydney and on our flight from LA to El Paso to attend the Texas Star Party a few weeks ago, I was on a find your own seat flight, so I walked along the isle looking for a smaller person with a vacant seat next to them. I chose a seat where there was an African American woman of smaller stature sitting by the window, so I chucked my bag in the overhead and sat down. Well, as one does when they are all excited at the start of an astronomy road trip with some mates, I struck up a conversation with this lady named Yolanda. When we got on to the topic of why I was in the US and I mentioned that I was on an astronomy trip with some like minded mates and that we would be using the 100" Hooker for a whole night...she said "oh really??! Well, I know Mt Wilson very well!" how's that I replied.."Well, my partner is the great grand daughter of Harlow Shapley (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harlow_Shapley) and I have been up there a few times"..?..:eyepop:.. She had only buried Harlows daughter Mildred (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mildred_Shapley_Matthews), at 101 years old, two years ago and she showed me photos of her. I mean what are the chances, a black gay partner of the great granddaughter of one of the most famous astronomers would be sitting next to me on a plane while on an astronomy road trip..?? Needless to say we had a great conversation all the way to El Paso and parted as if we had been friends for years
