Hi there,

Are there any recommendations for those programs that take several worm rotations and find an average fit PEC curve free of anomalies? This is all new to me, so forgive me if I don't quite get how this all goes together. It would seem sensible to get this sorted before I start seriously guiding with PHD2 as my understanding is that once uploaded to the mount, PHD works *on top* of that. Unless the PPEC algorithm in PHD2 make standalone software redundant? But the 'Best Practices' document says "Use periodic error correction if the mount
supports it" soooo...

Cheers

Markus

You could try the PHD forum...
With my system PPEC is all done in the mount. PHD 'holds' the guide star during the setup process.

PEMPro (http://www.ccdware.com/products/pempro/)is great for that.
