Hi all,
I have decided to sell some lenses that I no longer use -
1. Nikon 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6 G AF. Comes with front and rear caps, Hoya UV and polarizing filters, HB-20 lens hood and instruction manual. Lens is in perfect condition inside and out. This is a good, cheap lens that performs well beyond its dollar value. I bought this lens new in 2003. $120 + postage
2. Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G AF. Comes with front and rear caps, Hoya UV and polarizing filters, HB-26 lens hood and instruction manual. Lens is in perfect condition inside and out. Like the 28-80, this lens performs well beyond its price tag. I bought this lens new in 2003. $200 + postage
3. Nikon 180mm f/2.8 IF-ED. Comes with front and rear caps, built in lens hood, Hoya HMC UV filter and standard polarizing filter (slightly scratched). I bought this lens second hand in about May ’05 and I believe it is the 1986-1988 version which is said to be optically the same and the current version. The optics and mechanics are in very good condition, but there are some small cosmetic scratches on the outside of the barrel. This is a seriously sharp lens with a very good reputation from those that use it for astrophotography. $550 + postage
4. Nikon VR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D ED. Comes with front and rear caps, tripod collar, HB-24 lens hood, CL-M1 lens case and instruction manual. This is a very sharp lens and the VR works great. I bought it new last March. Some of you will know that I dropped this lens last April and did some major damage to the VR part of it. It has since been sent to Nikon in Japan and been repaired to original condition at great expense. The lens is like new inside and out. I am selling it because the AF speed is a too slow for what I want it for. $1600 + postage
All these lenses will fit and work on almost any AF Nikon body, 35mm or Digital. The 180mm will function on virtually any Nikon body as will the 80-400, but without VR function on older models. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Postage will be the actual cost and local pickup is welcome.
