Only got a couple of hours of Ha in before dew + clouds put an end to what seemed to be a night of quite good seeing.

I had a whinge here (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=167030)about issues with star halos too.

ZWO Ha filter + ASI1600MM-C on an RC8 reduced to f6 and an EQ6. 28 x 5 min subs.

Want more data + colour data too, but thought I'd post this here first as a test shot of the area for now.

Full res available on Astrobin here (https://www.astrobin.com/full/347815/0/).

Looks pretty good to me Paul, the star halos are not distracting I reckon. Maybe an issue with M45 Pleiades though.

Cheers

Thanks Mike and Trish.

If you look closely at e.g. the bright (mag 7) star just to the NW of the centre, you can see the annoying diffraction rings I was whinging about on the other thread though :(
