Hey Guy's

It's all good for this weekend, very much looking forward to another get
together... weather permitting.

Unfortunately it might be one of the last evenings out here. But never to
fear I have access to a property a few kms further down the highway.

Look forward to seeing you on the weekend

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the offer but we are up at the Brisbane Planetarium for a conference meeting the big dome people. You are not far from Ellangowan? We went out to the public school there last year for some shows. Took our scope as well but was cloudy.Hope you fare better!

Have the neighbours finally complained about the red torchlights and the continual yahoos heard all night long coming from your place?

Yup! we will be relocating over the next couple of months or so. Hopefully
we can find a place fairly local to Coombell. But we'll have to see.

LOL Andrew....

Np's Alex, all the best to your dad

Looking at the forcast and the current continual weather patterns it isn't
looking good for tomorrow. So do the usual check in here tomorrow
afternoon.

Well, it pretty patchy cloudwise. There is scattered showers with light rainfall
to the south west. Although it does look to be slowly clearing locally but we
still have 50-60% cloud cover.

Think I will stay home tonight. It is still about 40% cloudy here.

Another update, it actually clearing rather well here, there is a big storm
to the east, which is heading towards you Glen. So up to you guy's as to
what you want to do. I've stuck the 20x80's on my EQ5 mount to view
comet McNaught.

Is it still visible rob ?..I havn't seen a clear sunset for a couple of weeks
I tried to murder a few golf balls this afternoon .. It does seem like it might clear up late tonight now ..to late for me to wind back a couple
of beers though :)

Thanks Rob Brought him home this morning but he started bleeding so I have spent all afternoon at the hospital, he is home again, great Doctor explained it wasnt serious, Its clear here but both neighbours have lights on friends around etc so I dare not go out on the balcony with binos they already think I am strange. But later will have a look at the nova in scorpius with the binos .
The cloud maps promise more of the same up there I think.

Graham,

Yup still a naked eye object from here. And spectacular in the 20x80's : )
even the missus could see it. It was her first naked eye comet.

Alex, good to hear it was nothing serious. And I could easily see what you
mean re: neighbours. So how did the wife look having a shower lol just
kidding. My neighbour probably thinks the same, unfortunately the comet
is right above her house.

Well it did clear up pretty well here last night, but there was alot of star
twinkle and only really good for bino viewing.
