Ran out of time on my main target last night, so captured 3 hrs on M20. I have actually NEVER captured M20 before apart from a tiny slice of it in a failed M8 mosaic.

Not the best as some of it - whilst I was sleeping - was through fog!!! I'll weed those subs out today, but here is all of them stacked regardless, fog and all :)

Slightly cropped full frame (gotta nail this damned tilt! Doing my head in!!!): https://www.astrobin.com/full/346913/B/

Layered noise reduction: https://www.astrobin.com/full/346913/C/

Now I am defrosting - got to -2° during this run, wildly fluctuating in temperature from +2 to -2°, fog then no fog (I walked out into a bank of fog - grrr - and whilst I was packing up, it dissipated...then reformed 30 min later). Humidity was 99%

Your getting good at this Lewis...a great looking image  a few things to look at mate between Vodka's.

Things I like.

1. Colour

2. Contrast

3. Detail.

4. Dynamic range.

Things you might want to look at....or not.

1. background saturation too strong.

2. Watch the sharpening on the background.

3. Take a sip of Vodka between subs....can't hurt.

Ain't no sharpening Louie! That's straight out of PixInsight BatchPreprocess then a saturation tweak in PS. Nothing else!

I'll have a fiddle at fixing it - I did that process at 0430 this morning after I packed up. Have looked since and seen the fog fubared 95% of the subs...might not be worth redoing. It was just a tick-off-the-checklist item anyway. What I am working on now is more me, but I only get an hour each clear night before trees intervene.

Had a shart-fight with tilt last night - I think I got it sorted today, but we all know what thort thought.
