Having to log on again and again.

I usually view the forum using 2 or 3 windows at a time. My internet connection is primative, 24-28kbps, so by having multiple windows, I can be reading one thread while another is loading.
In the last couple of days I've been unable to do this without having to log on to each page, again and again and again.
All is fine when I use only one window.
Is this a new change to the site?

mmmm nope. Nothing has changed. I suspect your browser isn't saving cookies. I can only suggest you open one browser window, delete your IceInSpace cookie by following the link here (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/faq.php?faq=vb_user_maintain#faq_vb _clear_cookies) and logging-in again.

Just the "You may clear all your cookies by clicking here".
If that doesn't work, then you might need to try to delete your cookies manually as per those instructions. But try just clicking on the "click here" link first in the faq.

EDIT: I only noticed that it's ok when you use one browser window. (How observant of me :rolleyes:) I don't think the above will fix your problem then. Give it a go, it can't hurt to try but I don't know why you're having the problem with multiple browsers open. Sorry :shrug:
- Login with one browser open.
- Close the browser
- Then open multiple browsers and see what happens.
