Hi all up for grabs is my pride and joy my 10" f4 truss Newt in top condition with beefed up front cage and beefed up collimating screws and springs on the primary mirror and secondary it holds collimation very well also comes with moonlite focuser 2" with extra long focusing tube and light shroud and front cover and primary mirror cover this scope is awesome for imaging very stable but unfortunately I damaged the cable between the focuser and hand control a new one is about $20 (cable has now been replaced with a new one and works great) just haven't had time to order a new one but every thing else is perfect and this is pick up only as it is to big to post and I would not trust a courier to deliver it in one piece
also you will need a big mount for this it rides very comfortably on my G11
and there is a 80mm Stellavue finder scope that come with it as well with illuminated cross hair eyepiece looking for $1300 FIRM this is the last price drop for this magnificent scope if you purchased it you won't be disappointed I am only selling because I have inherited a Takahashi Mewlon scope and don't have the room for 2 big scopes
please PM me if interested
thanks for looking

Hi,

What is the total weight with the upgraded focuser etc.?

I'd also be looking at running this on a G11.

Have you taken any images with this setup that you could share?

Thanks!

John

Is the whole focuser a Moonlite unit, or just the focuser motor?

Can this be controller via ASCOM (from Sequence Generator Pro)?

Thanks,

John

hi John is a full moonlite focuser with the DC motor it should be able be controlled via ASCOM but not sure with SGP never used it I was just using the hand controller to fine focus you may need the stepper motor which will bolt straight up in replace of the DC motor
hope this helps cheers Pete
