Hi all..so im new to astrophotography and i bought a piggyback mount for my 9.25 celestron cpc. Problem is when i put my dslr on with my samyang 14mm wide angle lens the only one i have for astro pics. The end of the ota obstructs my view and shows up in the photo..i need to raise the camera higher so the ota doesnt obstruct my view..can anyone help me get around this problem. By the looks of it i probably have to raise the dslr about 100mm somas not to see the end of the ota. Im dissapointed. The piggyback cost me $50 from sirius optics and i cant use it. Also i bought a zwo planetary cam and when comnected it to my brand new laptop with ssd drive usb 3.0..just using the skycam wide angle it keeps freezing for a few seconds every 5 or so seconds..what am i doing wrong or is it faulty camera..also.its color but captures come out b/w.

The problem is the wide field of your camera. No problem with the piggy back and it is not Sirius Optics fault.
Can you mount the piggy back at the front of the tube?

Get a ball head to screw onto the piggyback mount. The camera then screws onto the ball head and you can have any angle you want. The camera doesn't have to point in the same direction as the telescope.
Make sure you get a heavy duty ball head though. Another option is a piggyback mount with a tilt pan.

In the meantime swivel the camera to the left or right of the scope until
the OTA disappears from view.

Is the ZWO cam a USB2 ASI120? If so, it's not going to work unfortunately. There are significant known problems with the driver for that camera although I've read it can work on Windows7 (but not later versions).
