Hi Guys,

Well who would think, that the only time that a great Comet is about we get such terrible weather, in just one week i was lucky enough to see it and capture it in a time frame of about 5 mins.

And when it all clears, the Comet will be gone, Murphys Law, i expect, or did someone buy something real expensive

Cheers Leon.

At least you have seen it

As usual the skies will clear when the moon returns to the evening skies

Of Coarse Geoff, if you average it out we get about 3 nights a month of any decent skies.

And Ken, have you got those legs for that new aqusition of yours yet.

Cheers Leon

You hang in there too Leon. I mean literally 'Hang on'!!!! There is a massive wind storm blowing thru here right now and you'll cop it in about another 10-15 minutes!!!!!!

Lock everything down, it's a biggy!

That was my pet hate for almost every month last year. Very unproductive
not to mention an absolute pain in the behind. All I can say is your new
scope must not be far away.

Midday's sunny breaks turned sour. I just sat in the local park (parking area) in the car, binoculars at hand, hoping for the clouds to part. By 9:30, the rain had set in. :mad2:

And we even weren't doing all that brilliantly at the cricket! :(

I can only hope that tomorrow evening's forecast is realised - it may be our only chance for days to come. :prey:

Could not see it here as it was always cloudy. As soon as it disappeared it wasnt cloudy anymore and the sun was shining. Just typical!

That's what I thought, Terry. It's hard to find a clear southwesterly aspect in my neck of the woods but I made up my mind yesterday afternoon to go find such a spot in the late evening.

Ha, ha, ******, ha. Clouds 8 octers.

I might try again this afternoon, but then again, maybe not. Sheesh.
